What happens when… someone discharges a firearm into the air?

How often have we been warned by law enforcement officials and the media to not discharge firearms into the air to celebrate some “special event?”   In this time when common sense is a super power, I could not estimate the number of times I have heard announcements from the local media regarding this, let alone count them.

Do you remember the saying, “What goes up, must come down.”?

In this post we have photos of that show this to be true.  Here is an example of what we have seen all too often on roofs.

Fortunately. the projectile landed on a wood deck covered with asphalt shingles rather than person.
